JEAN-MARC MADE IT HOME!
The Trip was better than I ever imagined it would be! Here are some trip stats for anyone who is interested:
-The total mileage was 4,011 miles (6,455 kilometers)
-The trip took a total of 58 days, from May 28th to July 24th
-My top speed was 45 mph.(72kph.) coming down from Loup Loup Pass in the Washington Cascade Mountains
-My longest day was 175 miles (281 kilometers)straight across the state of Indiana. That day was about 16 hours of riding with cross-winds.
-My half-way point (2,000 miles) was in Northern Minnesota
-And perhaps the most incredible statistic I have to share: I was rained on a total of about 2 hours in 58 days.
Thankyou everyone for your time, your generosity and your support. This fundraiser has been a success because of the wonderful people who have taken the time to donate and help out in other ways. I am very grateful to all of you.

Jean-Marc Dykes, a student at the University of British Columbia, and instructor at Acorn Gallery will cycle cross-country for Lupus research.
